Hello, I'm Emma
I’m a project manager, a parent, and an expat living in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
A few years back I moved here with my family. What began as a short-term assignment gradually became a new chapter of life abroad.
How It Began
Moving to Netherlands wasn’t in the master plan. Just like typical expat relocations, it started as a job opportunity and soon grew into something far greater.
The early months were intense — unfamiliar systems, new routines, fresh expectations. Daily tasks seemed more complicated than necessary.
The Adaptation Period
There was culture shock, doubt, and plenty of hands-on learning. Yet gradually routines took shape. We found places that suited us, connected with other families, and began creating something that felt steady.
What Motivated Me to Create Crest Marble Moss
Most online resources were either corporate relocation guidance or superficial travel content. What was missing was a genuine, everyday-family viewpoint.
This site aims to fill that gap — practical advice grounded in real life in Netherlands.
